TOS CO-CHAIR: Creator and Sentinel Executive Publisher Danny Bakewell Sr. announced Congress­woman Karen Bass as a co-chair for the 8th annual Taste of Soul. “I want to congratulate Danny Bake­well, Sr. for the huge success that Taste of Soul has become.  In only eight years it has become the largest family festival in the city bringing hundreds of thousands of people together on Crenshaw to celebrate our community,” Rep. Bass released in a statement.
