Notes, quotes and things picked up on the run from coast to-coast and all the stops in between and beyond.
There are a lot of sports fans who will be honoring all of the former Presidents, with the exception of that clown (Donald J. Trump) presently in the White House on Presidents’ Day. These fans are my heroes.

Cleveland Cavaliers superstar LeBron James is telling the world; “Equal has no boundaries.”
Shaquille O’Neal works more TV shows and may appear on more shows than any other former NBA star in history. Just turn on your TV set and up pops Shaq.
The Rams and Chargers had a combine report card of 9-4 at their last homes. However, here in L.A. they reportedly make more than double what they grossed at their former homes.
Sheryl Swoopes, the three-time Olympics gold medal winner, heads the latest Women’s Basketball Hall of Fame class. The Hall of Fame group will salute the 1975, 1976, and 1977 Delta State teams as “trailblazers of the game”. Delta State captured three consecutive AIAW National championships.
Included among the other honorees are Sally Bell, founder of Intercollegiate Athletics for women, Christine Grant, Middle Tennessee Coach Rick Insell and former Southern Connecticut coach Louise O’Neal and Olympics gold medalist Kara Wolters.

Dean Spanos, Chargers President and CEO understands how he, his dad, and the rest of the know how must play the game in L.A. Young Spanos declared recently: “ I don’t expect anything to be handed to us. We’re one of a bunch of teams here, and we’ve got to prove ourselves.”
The three Bs, Marvin Bagley, a 6-11 junior hero and the Ball Brothers senior LiAngelo and second year man LaMelo are the talk of the nation.

Beyoncé gets my vote as the MVP of the Grammy Awards show at the Staples Center in downtown L.A. She shined as one of the most beautiful and talented women in the world of all-time. Beyoncé walked off with the most memorial golden gown at the Emmys in my book. This lady is truly a piece of work. Like LeBron James, Stephen Curry, Tom Brady, Dak Prescott, Russell Westbrook, Kevin Durant et al Beyoncé is unmatchable.

It has been rumored Russell Westbrook could be coming back home to play for the Los Angeles Lakers. If the OKC Thunder let the former Leuzinger High and UCLA player get away, two of the greatest players in OKC would have left.
Westbrook could do for the Lakers what Magic Johnson did with Show Time. Magic, the Lakers new advisor, could play a key role in this move.
Belated congratulations to the women’s Connecticut basketball team on its 100th consecutive victory with a 66-55 win over South Carolina. Connecticut has won 11 national titles.
