LAWT Staff and Wire Report

“We’re still trying to put everything together,” said L.A. resident DeNeyvous Wiley, brother of slain businessman Donald Wiley.

The family was still puzzled this week over the drive-by shooting of their 50-year-old relative, who was killed Saturday afternoon near Crenshaw Blvd. and 76th Street. He had been walking his cousin, who was also an employee of his credit repair business to her car when shots fired from a passing vehicle hit him several times. According to news reports, police were looking for five suspects but had no information on the motive for the shooting.

“I [saw] him in the rear view mirror getting something out of the back seat and before I hit the corner that’s when everything happened,” Wiley’s cousin who asked not to be identified told reporters.
