Aries

March 21 – April 19

You’ll be eager to explore the potential in an idea that could see you traversing new territory. This could be a serious plan that you’ll want to explore with someone else. However, don’t dive into the details just yet, because that could slow down the process. Focus on the bigger picture and you’ll be able to refine your plans later. Friday brings a fabulous opportunity for a social event that could be truly enjoyable, whether it’s a date or other fun occasion.

Taurus

May 21 - Jun 20

Funds may be available to help you get started on a domestic project, and this could bring you a lot of satisfaction. It may not be anything major, but it’s well worth it if it will add extra sparkle to your home. In addition, a get-together on Friday could be a very special occasion if you’re holding it at your place. Whether it’s a school reunion, gathering of work colleagues, or coffee with workout buddies, it could lead to new friendships and social opportunities.

Gemini

May 21 - Jun 20

An undertaking could have a serious note, but it can be a fun occasion as well. A focused blend of energies could see you collaborating with someone on a plan that needs two pairs of hands rather than one. Someone may offer to help out of the blue, and this input could also add a dash of creative inspiration and extra sparkle. Options for a lively weekend seem to be in the offing. Finally, try to avoid getting upset regarding a family issue.

Cancer

Jun 21 - Jul 22

If you have money to spend, you might be eager to invest it in something that gives you an advantage at work. Investing in a class could be one of your wiser purchases this week, as it could give you the ability to apply for jobs that pay more. Aside from this, you might want to splurge on items that add extra cheer to your domicile. If you’re entertaining guests, you might want to treat them to something special.

Leo

Jul 23 - Aug 22

There is such a thing as serious fun, and it could appear as an invitation to join activities that involve certain skills and knowledge. Connecting with friends who share your passion could make this a delightful week. Even so, you might want to look at the cost before you splurge on leisure outings, as one option may prove far more expensive than another. A cozy evening for two on Friday could enable you to explore the potential in your relationship.

Virgo

Aug 23 – Sep 22

You may be very enamored of one idea that seems to have special resonance for you, but you could have difficulty persuading others how good it really is. If you want other people to team up with you or support you, it might be easier to get things up and running yourself and lead by example. The weekend could see you adopting a spiritual approach to the deeper issues in life, and this could lead to a change in a key relationship.

Libra

Sep 23 - Oct 22

You might need someone’s help with a business venture or idea that you can’t manage on your own. This week, a positive blend of energies involving harmonious Venus your personal planet, could see you making great strides with this person’s aid. However, try to avoid a tendency to overthink this matter. Rather than make progress, you could go around in circles. Just doing it could make all the difference. Later in the week, an invitation could lead to a very special and enjoyable evening.

Scorpio

Oct 23 - Nov 21

There’s plenty of action in your social zone, but with lively Mercury moving to catch up and connect with feisty Mars, you won’t be backward in sharing your opinions. Moreover, doing so could cause others to feel irritated and perhaps answer back. If you want to keep the peace over the coming days, it would help to be sensitive in how you broach and discuss certain topics. On another note, keep your eyes open for an opportunity to showcase a key skill.

Sagittarius

Nov 22 - Dec 21

A decision to hook up with someone could present you with a solid opportunity. Early in the week, give some consideration to a serious idea, as it could work in your favor. However, you could clash with someone in authority unless you’re willing to compromise. Friday and the weekend look like a lot of fun if you can keep work and professional matters out of the conversation. If you want to discuss business, socialize with like-minded colleagues.

Capricorn

Dec 22 - Jan 19

The desire to travel could prove very tempting, especially if you’re invited to join someone on a short break or vacation. It could also be a good opportunity to enjoy some peace and quiet and reflect on matters that need careful thought. At the same time, a business deal looks very promising. A meeting with someone on Friday could turn out well for you both, and it could be the first of many. It’s also possible that a small windfall could come your way.

Aquarius

Jan 20 - Feb 18

Connecting with others on a team effort could be very rewarding over the coming days. It might be hard work, but it could also be worth it. On another note, you may feel a need to change but find certain friends are resisting your efforts. They’ll likely relent if you can persuade them why this is important to you. There’s a lot of fun to be had and new experiences to enjoy as of Friday. An encounter could lead to an enjoyable new experience.

Pisces

Feb 19 - Mar 20

Go easy when discussing sensitive matters, as such discussions could put you and another at odds. In fact, it might be better to avoid rocking the boat, particularly over the weekend and especially if you want to spend a relaxing time together. Consider broaching the subject later next week, when both of you feel a lot more relaxed about it. On another note, you may easily impress someone in authority by using your charm and natural abilities. Use the connection to your advantage.

FOX News Co-host, Eboni K. Williams Embraces Beauty as an Asset in Corporate America

Can a professional woman have both beauty and brains as a positive and powerful asset, while climbing the corporate latter? Author, Eboni K. Williams answers this question in her new book, “Pretty Powerful: Appearance, Substance, and Success”. Williams insists that there is power in a woman’s appearance in the work place. An attorney, co-host of “The FOX News Specialists” as well as a radio personality, she explores the reasoning behind the question: why should a smart, credentialed woman with professional ambition focus on her looks?

The bottom line queston is: does looks matter?  According Williams, it should matter. Further, she feels women shouldn’t have to play down their appearance to be taken seriously and respected. Her book credits a study done by Newsweek magazine, concluding that attractive women have an edge on getting hired and promoted. In contrast, women can be apprehensive when playing up their beauty in fear that it may divert or minimize their intelligence, skill and credentials in corporate America.  Living in an image-driven society, the book details William’s struggle to coexist as an attorney, while being respected amongst her peers in law, politics and media. Further the book discusses sexual harassment, while shining a light on powerful public figures: CEO Desirée Rogers, Sarah Palin, Marcia Clark’s and others. She encourages women to develop all of their strengths and strive to be their best self, inside and out, without apology. “Pretty Powerful: Appearance, Substance, and Success” releases September 12, at all major retailers. Stephen A. Tillett warns America against the Lies about race in ‘Stop Falling for the Okeydoke’

Author and political activist, Stephen A. Tillett uncovers the perplexing narrative of race in “Stop Falling for the Okeydoke: How the Lie of ‘Race’ Continues to Undermine Our Country.” Tillett urges Blacks and America as a whole to be aware of racial propaganda in his informative book. He believes we are living in a critical time in our nation's history; a time where people of like interests must come together for their common good, lest we all be overrun by the “Corporate States of America”. The ‘lie-the okeydoke’ of race has kept people of common concern separated for far too long. Genetically, we are all 99.9% the same. We must begin to act like it. As Dr. King once said, “We must learn to live together as brothers or (we will) perish together as fools. This book is leading edge thinking and it will have a big impact on America and the world,” states Dr. Willie Jolley, Bestselling author of “A Setback Is A Setup For A Comeback” and “Achieving Greatness with An Attitude of Excellence.” Visit www.iUniverse.com for “Stop Falling for the Okeydoke: How the Lie of "Race" Continues to Undermine Our Country.”

Her book deals with universal issues, with one’s self and society as a whole. The novel holds a collection of poems and spiritual nourishment to uplift and renew readers who may see themselves as disadvantage in life. “This book is a collection of poetic writings that began its conception in my imagination, when I was a young girl toiling in the cotton fields of Holcomb, Mississippi. Chance the Rapper is also Chance the Friend of Arts Education in Chicago.

The Grammy-winning musician on Friday afternoon announced that his nonprofit organization had r aised $2.2 million to be distributed to arts education programs at 20 public schools in the city.

The 24-year-Chicago native whose real name is Chancelor Bennett earlier this year donated $1 million to the city’s public school’s system.

Each of the 20 schools will receive about $100,000 over the next three years and the principals of those schools have committed to spending the money on arts programs. The rapper says the schools were selected both on how much they were affected by budget cuts and by how much the principals of the schools were committed to arts programming.

Aries

March 21 – April 19

You may have a lot to do, but you could find much of the week rather distracting. It might be best to test the waters before making any commitments or promises, especially if they’re important. Something could occur that would mean you’re unable to follow through. And with a full moon in Pisces midweek, emotions could also come to the fore, which might make it harder to know what’s best. Ease into the flow and you’ll fare much better by the weekend.

Taurus

May 21 - Jun 20

Pleasure options could call out to you over the week ahead, especially if you’ve been busy on the home front. After a period of hard work, you might prefer to do something more relaxing that can act as a restorative and boost your spirits. This week, someone you don’t see often could unexpectedly show up on your doorstep, and this could be an excuse for a get-together or grand outing. By the weekend, you may feel like chilling in more low-key ways.

Gemini

May 21 - Jun 20

There’s a focus on your home zone, so the coming weeks could offer a chance to get your place looking shipshape and fabulous. This might involve removing clutter, redecorating, or reorganizing, all of which you’ll take in stride. The midweek full moon could bring one family issue to a head, so stand back and resist the temptation to get involved if you can. Things should be much more settled within a few days, making it easier to choose a course of action.

Cancer

Jun 21 - Jul 22

It looks like the coming weeks are going to be very busy, especially when it comes to general administrative tasks, writing, research, and online activities. This can also prove very rewarding and bring many opportunities to get your message out to the world and market your goods and services. With lively Mercury turning direct, you’ll still need to look out for mixed messages and potential snafus until the end of the week, when things begin to return to normal.

Leo

Jul 23 - Aug 22

You could decide it’s time for some cost-cutting measures, because the focus on your sector of money and values is enhanced over the coming days. This can be an opportunity to take stock, but this is best done after the midweek full moon, which could encourage you to throw caution to the wind and make a decision to splurge on something you feel you need. In the days ahead, you might realize you made a mistake, so keep the receipts and paperwork just in case.

Virgo

Aug 23 – Sep 22

You’ll feel truly in your element this week as the cosmic focus zeros in on your sign, encouraging you to enjoy being you. This is not the time to hold back but to openly express you needs, wishes, desires - and opinions, of course. But it might be wise to refrain from committing to an idea or opportunity until the weekend or early next week, when the stellar landscape will be much more stable. You’ll also have a clearer idea of what’s what.

Libra

Sep 23 - Oct 22

The emphasis falls on a quieter, more spiritual sector of your chart, so the cosmos is encouraging you to slow down and pace yourself over this and coming weeks. This is your chance to find balance and restore a sense of calm. But to do so, you might need to resolve and release issues that have been going on for some time. It’s your chance to clear the slate and refuel, and both are necessary if you’re to make progress over the coming months.

Scorpio

Oct 23 - Nov 21

Watch out for mixed messages that could add a touch of confusion to a developing bond or friendship. It might be easy to read more into a conversation or gesture than is there, which could prove embarrassing. However, if you can avoid making promises, having too many expectations, or putting this person on a pedestal, you might be able to avoid any hitches. By the end of the week, your perspective will be much more down to earth and you’ll feel much more grounded.

Sagittarius

Nov 22 - Dec 21

The focus in the coming weeks is on your sector of goals and career, which could put you firmly in the spotlight. You could be quite competitive when it comes to grabbing key opportunities or applying for jobs. Take your time making decisions early in the week, when some fluctuating influences could cause misunderstandings. Bide your time and read the fine print to understand exactly what you’re getting into. You’ll likely feel confident enough to make a choice by the weekend.

Capricorn

Dec 22 - Jan 19

If you haven’t had a vacation all summer, the coming weeks could see you making some travel arrangements. With feisty Mars entering your sector of exploration early this week, you might be eager to get away from it all and relax in different surroundings. Also, be careful when organizing your itinerary or traveling from place to place, as Mercury will be changing direction and there is also a dreamy full moon. Confusion or misunderstandings could cause a wrong turn.

 Aquarius

Jan 20 - Feb 18

This week and coming weeks could encourage you to make deep-seated changes that mark a turning point for you. At the same time, the present focus could also see you looking into money matters with a view toward streamlining your present situation and getting a better return on investments. But go easy if you need to make a major purchase, as you may not get as great a deal as you think. Wait a few days before you commit. You could change your mind.

Pisces

Feb 19 - Mar 20

Interactions could be busier and more intense over the coming days and weeks. With feisty Mars also moving through your sector of relating, you might be more proactive and willing to resolve issues that may have lingered on for far too long now. Things could get quite excitable around the time of the full moon, so go easy. Avoid doing or saying anything that you might regret later. If in doubt, leave it for another time when you’re more settled.
