A judge has ruled that Floyd Mayweather Jr. can expand a countersuit he filed against his ex-fiancee after she sued the boxer, alleging he publicly humiliated her with a social media posting of her pregnancy sonogram and accused her of aborting their twins.

Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Monica Bachner's decision, issued Friday, allows Mayweather to add alleged causes of action against Shantel Jackson for unlawful recording of confidential conversations, invasion of privacy, violation of the California Constitution and intrusion into private matters.

Jackson started the litigation by suing Mayweather in September 2014. Her claims include defamation, invasion of privacy, assault, battery, harassment and false imprisonment.

In addition to the social media allegations, Jackson claims Mayweather twisted her arm and choked her during an argument in August 2012 and then pointed a gun at her in April 2013 while asking which toe she wanted him to shoot.

According to Mayweather's court papers, discovery began after his countersuit was filed in 2017 and Jackson “admitted her surreptitious recording of conversations containing confidential communications with Mayweather,” prompting him to move to add the additional allegations.

The countersuit previously alleged two causes of actions for theft for Jackson’s alleged unauthorized uses of Mayweather’s credit cards.

Mayweather served two months in jail in 2012 after pleading guilty to reduced domestic battery charges stemming from a hair-pulling, arm-twisting attack on his former girlfriend, Josie Harris, while two of their three children watched.

Mayweather, 42, retired as an unbeaten boxer who, according to Forbes, was one of the highest paid athletes in the world.
